Fashion In Fine Style (Significant Hits Volume 1) was originally compiled by Bristol’s Reggae Archive label in 2012 to represent some of the very best tracks from the Fashion Records catalogue.

The selection perfectly captures the essence of Fashion's diverse production styles, and the tracks span all genres of reggae – Lovers Rock, Dancehall, Dee Jay, Dub and Roots – while also including a Jungle mix of Top Cat’s classic ‘Request The Style’.

The artists are all top notch as well, Jamaican superstars like Cutty Ranks, Papa San, Alton Ellis, Daddy Freddy, Frankie Paul and Bunny General rub shoulders with UK luminaries such as Top Cat, General Levy, Winsome, Nereus Joseph, Dee Sharp and Peter Hunnigale amongst others.

While ‘Significant Hits Volume 1’ was never meant to be a ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation, it could easily be mistaken for one … but there’s so much more to come!
